I took my measurements this morning at 7:33 AM. I was a little concerned thinking..."Uh oh, maybe the scale didn't move this week since the measurements are pretty stagnate". Then I went to the gym to get on the scale. TA DA!! FINALLY, I have broken through the 70 pound mark! YIPEE!! Going back to basics and restarting my nutrition journal has been KEY! I'm really glad I did it. I wasn't realizing how many calories were going in my fuel tank. Even though they were "good foods" and "YOAD foods", there was still just to much of them. I'm excited to see what the future holds now!!

I actually went back and looked at my weight loss stats. I realized that my "good" weight loss stopped shortly after I stopped my nutrition journal. I know that's not a coincidence. I decided it's time to buckle back down to get that scale to move. I've been going in the right direction and have been moving towards this for a few weeks now, so I'm glad I'm finally here. I started journaling again on Thursday and it's going well. The first two days I was above my calorie range (1200-1550) but the next two days I was right in the ball park. It feels GREAT too!

I can't believe that I've lost 70 pounds!! That's just so wild! It feels good and it's a bit surreal! I am getting used to me being at this weight and am enjoying the additional energy, stamina, decreased health issues and endurance I have now. I didn't realize how much I didn't have when I was heavier. What a blessing this weight loss has been...in SO many ways!! :-)

On that happy note, I'm off to SP to add my breakfast and my exercise to my nutrition and fitness trackers.
Hugs from AZ,
Shannon
