Hello!
Well it's Friday....YIPEE! I'm glad this week is coming to a close. Boy was yesterday wacky. All the sudden I kind of went on an eating frenzy. No worries, it was all YOAD food but it was just too much of it. I ended up about 500 calories over yesterday. I'm not sure why but I just couldn't get full. Ever have days like that?? I made some Pumpkin-Banana bread and just couldn't get enough of it. I had two large slices along with a cup of nonfat milk with each piece.
Fact is, it really wasn't even all that good! LOL! Go figure! It's OK--I'm right back up on that horse today and my eating is fine.
I was thinking about making the bread again this weekend, after tweaking the recipe a bit (it was too dry & tasted alot like baking powder). I may not though, why have the temptation of having it there? Who knows what I'll end up doing. I do like the fact the girls liked it, they munched on it instead of some other choice (that may not have been as healthy).
My sister's dog had puppies today--one of my dogs is the Daddy. They are adorable--there's 4 of them (3 girls, 1 boy). Two of them look just like both of my male dogs (maybe they are both the Daddy, who knows). Next stop? Neuter-ville! I don't want anymore puppies around--I am a much more responsible pet owner than that. I just didn't realize that 8 month old dogs could father a litter. DANG!
I'm exercising well. I have already been to the gym today. I went this morning, so I could be sure and get it in today (I went before work, before my daughter's MD appt too). I did 50 minutes on the stationary armed elliptical. I burned 502 calories. It was a good workout but I really need to work on pushing myself harder and getting my heart rate up a bit more when I exercise. I know I'm in the "Fat Burning" zone, but I'd like to push it into the "Cardio" zone more often than I do. (That will be one of my goals this month---to step it up a notch on a regular basis).
Tomorrow is my middle daughter's Safety Fair. She's hosting it at a local school. It's her Silver Award Project for GS. I'm curious to see how it's going to go. She's really procrastinated on it and now is really sorry she did. It's stressing her out and it's going to be super small. She originally wanted it to be a much bigger thing. Oh well, lesson learned for her. (Boy she is stubborn....hmmmm I wonder where she gets THAT!?!) LOL!
I better get--I've got to close up the office and get home. We've got to go to WM to get some display boards for her project. It'll be a busy night tonight-FOR SURE!
Hugs everyone!
