Today I've hit the 60 pounds lost mark. It's a little surreal. I'm very happy about it! I can't believe that there's finally more weight gone than I have left to go. I almost wonder if it will be sad when this journey ends. (Don't get me wrong, I'll be estatic and I'll handle it if I'm sad....but I'm just curious).

I am hoping to get back into the gym today. I have just been walking for exercise the past week because I've still had some lingering discomfort in my left lower abdomen (lingering from the cyst). It's been nice to get out in the lovely evening air. At night, it's finally cooled down here in the Phoenix area. Unfortunately we're still in the 90's during the day but at night we're in the 60's and it's lovely weather for walking in.

I'm feeling good. I think I'm looking pretty good too. I'm getting to the point where even the "new clothes" I bought 2 months ago are getting pretty baggy. Ugh, what a waste that was to buy $500 worth of clothes. Next time, I think I'll head to the Salvation Army and save some $$ on temporary stuff instead of getting an interim wardrobe. It's almost time to go through my clothes again and donate more stuff to them anyway. I can't even wear 20's or more because the just literally sag and fall off when I walk. It feels great weight wise but I'm so cheap, it bums me out too. LOL! My husband said, "You're not going to stop losing weight because of that are you?". ROFL! What a goofball! Like I'd stop losing weight because I have to buy more clothes. Now that's man logic for ya! ;-) LOL! He's actually been very supportive. He's doing pretty good too and he's looking great. I'm very happy for him. Heck, I'm very happy for both of us.

Well, I better run. It's time to check the message board and post my daily thoughts over on realage. I may try and spend a bit more time on Spark People today too. I really haven't had much opportunity to be on that for the past two weeks. I've missed it, in a way. I've also felt good that I can still progress without being so dependent on it too. Hey, I think I'm making progress! YIPEE!!

Have a super day! Keep on, keeping on! YOU can do this!! WE can do this!! I BELIVE IN YOU!!!
Hugs from AZ,
Shannon

Congratulations! 60 pounds!! That is just so amazing! I just got past the halfway point too, and I'm still in awe that there's less to go than what I've already done.

I'm having the exact same clothes issues that you are. It's just such a waste to buy them knowing that I won't be able to wear them in 2 months, but everything I have just looks horrible because it's too big on me. I did finally break down and get a few new things over the weekend. I also retired a few things that were looking particularly bad...lol

I'm so happy for you and SO proud of you!
HUGE HUGS!!
